Seattle Pride Secures Major Donors After Implementing DIGIDECK’s New Quick Start Offering

The Challenge

As a leading advocate for allyship efforts year-round to promote diversity and inclusivity, Seattle Pride’s rich history dates back to 1974 when their first parade in the area was held drawing attention to the movement and setting its foundation for growth. Today, the Seattle Pride Parade is the fourth largest in the country, attracting an estimated 500,000 members of the LGBTQIA+ community, friends, and allies.

With such strong numbers and a nation-wide reach, Seattle Pride knew promoting its message and mission in a digital, scalable way was critical to its livelihood and legacy.

When communicating with partners and potential donors, current methods were missing the mark: “Before DIGIDECK, we were using fragmented PowerPoint and PDFs to convey our messaging to potential donors and partners. We knew we needed something better that could match the level of innovation and progressiveness we embody at our organization when presenting to our audiences,” states Krystal Marx Executive Director for Seattle Pride.

The Solution

After witnessing the flexibility and functionality of the cloud-based presentation platform, DIGIDECK, Seattle Pride quickly turned to the solution for its messaging needs in the ever-important business of Donor Recruitment and Partnership Activation.

After being identified as a good fit for the new onboarding “Quick Start” program, Seattle Pride moved forward as an early adopter of this special DIGIDECK offering. “Quick Start” uses pre-packaged templates to speed up the implementation and launch process for DIGIDECK users offering a discounted, quick-to-market way to bring an organization’s story to life while maintaining the same functionality of DIGIDECK’s core features.

“We were thrilled to learn about the Quick Start program and felt like it lent itself nicely to our needs while allowing us to still customize presentations on a one-off basis as needed,” Marx shares.

THE RESULTS

Since launching with DIGIDECK, Seattle Pride has had many victories in the areas of Donor Recruitment and Partnership Activation.

“We were able to secure our first major donor with the help of DIGIDECK’s presentation abilities. This was a big victory for our team and set the stage for continued success on our partnership side as well. We have recently been able to extend relationships with 7 of our major partners after presenting to them via DIGIDECK about the value Seattle Pride has added for them and the added exposure from their engagements with us. We are hopefully closing deals with 4 more partners as we speak adding to our momentous year. Overall, we are far ahead of where we were at this time last year and believe DIGIDECK has been a major contributor to this success,” Marx adds.

Marx elaborates on DIGIDECK’s features and functionality adding that the statistics and back-end analytics have been by-far her favorite aspect of DIGIDECK noting that she has been able to follow-up with meaningful, targeted information to prospects after seeing which parts of each proposal they spent the most time viewing. Marx adds that the security features also give her team peace-of-mind knowing only the predetermined contacts at each organization are able to view and engage with their content. She even plans to link to DIGIDECK directly on the Seattle Pride website in the near future recognizing the opportunity this would present.
